Numerous police officers and firefighters responded to the scene of the shooting near Watson Avenue near the Intracoastal Waterway and began treating injured victims. Police said some of the victims arrived at hospitals in private vehicles. ?????

The incident unfolded around 10 p.m. Sunday in Little River, a town about 24 miles north of Myrtle Beach. ????? ???????  

"Thus far, the investigation indicates that the shooting was an isolated event that resulted from an altercation during a private Memorial Day weekend gathering on a charter boat," police said in the statement. ????? ???????  

Horry County Police said in an copyright Monday morning that 10 of the people hurt in the shooting were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, including one who was in critical but stable condition. An eleventh victim suffered a non-gunfire-related injury, police said. ????????????
